I personally found it really helpful and reassuring speaking to someone who had been through the hell I was in and had got out of the other end. I would say Michelle has the tools and the knowledge to get you out of the whole you are in.

What made you feel that talking to Michelle would help you?

Needed to hold my thinking up to "the cold light of day." I find it particularly useful when I am going to attempt a "big" challenge and need some extra "lead in my pencil". Michelle is like my coach as I attempt my next Olympian hurdle. I have to do it but she helps me be properly prepared. She's in my camp.

Very.  I knw she understands completely what I am talking about, she s kind and compassionate but doesn’t facilitate wallowing, she s there to help you find courage and move on equipped with the necessary knowledge.

Do you feel that talking to someone with personal knowledge and experience of Anxiety and Depression helped you and why?

Yes. Its impossible to fully understand something unless you have experienced it. Michelle speaks the language of someone who has lived every nuance and because of that I never feel foolish speaking to her and revealing my thoughts, and she actually helps me laugh at them . We speak the same language.

Would you recommend the services of Michelle her web site to others in need?, if so what would you say to them about it?

I would. And I would say she is the best resource I have come across and I have looked at them all ! Even the sainted Clare Weekes. Michelle really does know how to succeed with panic anxiety and agoraphobia and sensibly prepares you for the fact that you must be vigilant of circumstances that could make you relapse but again tells you how to deal with those.

How did you find out about "it's just a feeling"?: I was randomly browsing on mindfulness on the web when I chanced upon your blog and then onto your website. It's a Godsent for me really. Thank you so so much Michelle
Which part of the website helped you the most and why?: Accepting your physical dicomfort simply as symptoms of your condition ( the chicken pocks reference) and letting it come on instead of fighting it was awesome & a game changer for me. In my case, I would dread about shortness of breath ( symptom) and did everything to ease it. My belly swelled and I looked aweful, which again stroked the fear and I went round & round in cycles. The Amygdala explanation was great too. Being a student of science, I could understand the basics of it's function. That helped tremendously too.
Is the anything about the website that you feel could be improved?: I guess more videos of Michelle chatting would be great for people who are better at listening than at reading content. A live chat window would be awesome too...kind of a SOS window
Is there anything that michelle does not cover that you would like to see?: In my case, she covers everything.
What made you feel that talking to michelle would help you?: In my case, since she is a fellow sufferer, she can relate to me much better than any psychiatrist with merely a couple of certificates. It's just a feeling remember?

Do you feel that talking to someone with personal knowledge and experience of anxiety and depression helped you and why?: Of course. Since she has been through this hell herself for years. I don't think an outsider, including certified therapists/ doctors can have so much understanding about the feelings. I am not sure they can train the doctors/ therapists on anxiety simulators in any med school..
Is there anything that could be improved?: Will know with time.

How did you find out about "it's just a feeling"?: I was having irrational thoughts and i suffer from anxiety and my anxiety comes in waves. Usually if i've had a bad week or im menstruating, my mind is weaker and my anxiety comes through stronger. I always have these irrational thoughts and i've learnt that it really helps to read sites like yours and i just wanted to write to you to let you know that your section on irrational, obssessive thoughts is by far the best ive come across ð???

Is the anything about the website that you feel could be improved?: Maybe add a comment section!! That way other users of the site can comment on the post. I know when im suffering, its a sobering thought to know that im not alone

How did you find out about "it's just a feeling"?: I was looking for help on how to confront scary thoughts, then i came across your website on Google
Which part of the website helped you the most and why?: The part where you said. 'you do not have to like these thoughts, just accept that they are there and allow them to do their thing and do yours'

What made you feel that talking to michelle would help you?: I haven't spoken to Michelle, just looked at her blog and read some of her articles

I am a psychologist myself and thought that I would be able to work through this myself but the most helpful thing has been speaking and hearing from others about their experiences of anxiety.

Yes indeed..personally these blog changed my life, i really felt such a relief after reading it,I now understand how the mind works and am no longer scared of my own thoughts.. IT WORKS!
