To update very soon please bear with me.

Hello everyone,

I hope that my post today finds all clients of It's just a feeling as well as they can be and continuing to move through their own process to remove unhelpful anxiety from their lives.

I just wanted to touch base and let everyone know that my next blog will be available in about a months time. I wanted to explain my reasons and to reassure that I have not forgotten to continue to blog or in fact stopped my input!

It is no secret that I have been studying hard over the last four years both academically and in face to face practice to qualify as a counsellor and as a child counsellor. I am currently within the last five weeks of my study before I qualify and it has made this a very busy time for me. Currently  I have to place my focus on my studies to make sure that I meet the academic deadlines.

It is very difficult to focus on everything at once and so I have had to take the time to focus on my studies, Once I have completed my academic work I shall return to my blog.

Thank you for your patience.

Michelle

Hi my name is joy, I have battled with anxiety for well over 18 years. What I have learnt despite the horrendous symptoms nothing ever bad happens. I have learnt to change my thinking patterns when I'm having a panic attack. I say to myself ' you've had these sensations a million times before and they will pass' keep telling yourself they don't harm you, they are more like an over exaggerated alarm system that needs resetting. Hope this helps xx

I just stumbled upon your site as I have been having a recent resurgence in anxiety symptoms after about 7 years of being fairly anxiety free. I really value your practical information. For me, much of it is reminders of what I have already learned in therapy in the past. I agree with everything I have read of yours. I would add the importance of drinking lots of water. For some reason, it helps me to feel much better when I am going through a hard time. Thanks for your website!
